We have not been called into a ministry of condemnation, but rather a ministry of reconciliation. Often, the things that irritate us about others are the very things we struggle with ourselves. What offends us in someone else may just be a mirror of our own imperfections. Just because others aren’t offended by these things doesn’t mean we are perfect, but “that we, perhaps, are accepted regardless”.
The bottom line, dear friends, is this: let us walk in the Spirit. And if you are not yet born again, invite Jesus into your life today, so that the Spirit of life can be accessed fully and freely.
We all have moments, words, and actions from our past that we are not proud of. If we think we are saints without Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we are gravely mistaken and sadly deceived.
In truth, we were down below, unable to breathe, until Jesus came for us. Now, by His Spirit, we can breathe freely.
Let us walk in that freedom and not choke on our own efforts or fleshly striving.
